Ducati servicing in Kent
Just had the shims fettled on the trike by Steve R. He's did a great job & the motor feels really sweet now. He even gave me a lift from home to collect the trike from his place at Borough Green on Friday.
What a top bloke The rear cylinder was ok, but shims on front were well out. In fact one of the the closing shims had practically zero clearance & was near to burning a valve out! The engine had 9K on the clock & well overdue for the shims to be done, but I'm glad I didn't leave it a few more weeks. Steve's details have been posted up before but here they are again..... Steve R Motorcycle technician (specialising in Ducati) 07795 073376 I have business cards for him if anyone wants some Oh... Steve went for a little 'roadtest' blast on Thursday evening to check all was AOK. Managed well considering he had never ridden a trike before, and also had my right side heel/toe gearshift to suss out. Think he must have enjoyed himself on it judging from the grin on his face Friday
