Sorry Miles, I didn't realise these two dates clashed - and as you know I'm already committed to the MAD weekend. I'm sure you''l get plenty of interest from the Kenties & others that are are still free that weekend - just make sure you keep plugging the event regularly to jog peoples memories

I'm not much of a planner, but I hope to be there. This was my first UKMOC meet last year and Miles was the first member I met in person, would be nice to go the full cycle.

Tell you what Miles, you're making my hosuewarming next week look positively vague and amateurish. I haven't organised a ride in, some proper sleeping arrangements or anything.

As I said, we'll be up North for the MAD weekender, I don't suppose there is any chance of changing the solstice. I think it just happens like that.

I only called it the Solstice BarBQ as it was close to that date... but too many invites have gone out now to shift it. Maybe next year?

Thanks for the offer but I will be in Iceland fighting in a viking festival. I'm not joking. Thanks again anyway.

You should see the looks I get when I'm on a monster dark with a sword and axe strapped to my bike

Ha! I bet that keeps cars from cutting you off. Seeing the head of an axe over the shoulder. Any pics?

None on the bike but I found one on one of the Danish sites when we do one of the largest battles (last man standing) about 600 fighters in the field. I'm the idiot in woad and no armour. Yes it does hurt.
