Spruce Truce-the new movie

Looks like it could be good, if this is our kind of thing. There's not enough WW1 movies so one more won't hurt...

Didge, whatever happened to that Brit Flick of War of the Worlds??

Space, I believe it was released on DVD in the states to dire critisism. I researve judgement until I see it.
It is apparently very long, in the region of 3 hours I believe, which it should be if it sticks to the book as it's supposed to.
Bloody typical, the film is made in England by English film makers, and is released in the USA long before we get it.
I don't know when it will be released over here. If I get a chance, I'll do a web search later.

Ok, cheers. Yerbs, I have to go back to the Western Front some time to check out Sanctuary Wood (trenches restored as they actually were-near Ypres) and Verdunne. Also to do Normandy Landing beaches.

Didge, let us know if you hear anything!!
