Newbie

Hi to all

I have just bought a 900 Monster (1996) after a break of a few years. My last Ducati was a 750SS and I'm also rebuilding an old T3 Moto Guzzi.

The bike is great fun but the steering lock takes some getting used to.

I am hoping to meet up for a few rides out with some fellow riders. I am also considering getting some "fruitier" pipes (not too loud) - so any advice appreciated.

Hope to hear from some of you.

Cheers,

Jim

Welcome! Being in Portishead you will no doubt join us Gloucestershire lot on our many rides. You can start on Saturday if you like, we've a stand on the Bristol Bike Show and all local monsters are duty bound to make an appearance! Be a good chance to meet a few (lot) of club members! It's organised by our area rep Duncan, who lives fairly local to you, so PM him for details or find the threads he's put up about it!

Welcome! You're bound to have a good time. Do post some pics as the progress of the guzzi as time goes by.
