You may be able to have the rim straightened out if it's not too seriously damaged. Worth a try???

Should cost around £60-70 to get it straightened .

Just a thought but are there any other members near you ?? maybe you could "borrow" a wheel to get you through the MOT

That wouldn't have fitted anyway, looks like it was for a 916/996/998 and the rim size was wrong too - you need 17" for the monster.

Keep an eye on fleabay they always pop up from time to time.

Can you imagine how quick the steering would be on an already lightning quick Monster if it had a 16" front wheel?!?!?!?!?

Tankslapper anyone..?

Dave

PS. I'm hoping the MOT testers overlook the ding in my rim

Dave big thanx for the offer.I'm going to try and get it straightened today,if I have no joy I 'll be in touch, incidentally what colour is your wheel, mines the goldish colour. If the tester realises its a different/borrowed wheel he might get a bit funny (hes already let me off with illegal cans and an illegal number plate , anyhow thanx again, Wayne.

My wheel is gold. Let me know where you got it straightened because ideally I need mine doing.

Wayne,
I spotted that wheel on ebay tonight too, and rich beat me to posting it up. Looks in good nick but you may have to swap the wheel bearings if its from a later hollow spindle bike and your monster has the smaller solid type?
