Skiing in Bulgaria

I went skiing to Bulgaria Last week with my Judo Club and just wanted to say what a fantastic holiday and Country it was.

Skiing maybe wouldnt test the pro's among us but for hospitality, pure beauty of all the women and cost (35p ofr a bottle of beer in Plodiv) + only £4 per lapdance (not that I indulged........ I didnt) it rates very highly indeed!

A week was definetly enough though and you can see how slowly the country is trying to pull itself back from the Communist era. They hope to Join the EU in 2007.

I will post some pics/footage up when I have some

Went snowboarding in Borovets a few years ago. Great place. Cheap as chips as they say. Plus our instructor was the Bulgarian half pipe champion. It also helped that she was pretty good looking. My mate ended up staying an extra week for what you might like to call 'private tuition'!! Only downer was that they don't groom the pistes so you find yourself dodging rocks the size of house bricks that have come up through the snow. Top place.
