750 Monster
Just bought a 750 monster, the engine seems to whine a bit is this normal?
Changed the cam belts and tensioner bearings but didn't make any difference. Never owned a V twin before so nothing to compare with. Fred |

Could be a gearbox problem, don't really get much of a wine from mine. Mind you its difficult to hear much of anything over the racket of race Sil's + open clutch wearing earplugs :lol:
What's the bikes history?

Does it whine at standstill or just moving along. Could be the chains too tight.

It does it at standstill, I've fitted a new chain. As for the bikes history R reg with 9000 miles thats about all I know.
