Not sure I agree with that comment Rob. 2v 1100 engine vs 2v 1100 engine with vacum cast engine is 5kg saving.

5kg saving is more then enough to cover 2kg of ABS, 200cc increase and most of not all of RBW/TC.

New monster also has lighter sub-frame and lighter main frame then old s4rs monster.
I am quite certain it has lighter loom due to cumbus (how ever you call it), lighter rims and suspension components.

Quite possibly lighter tank.

Frankly good comparison as to how much lighter it all became is between Monster 695 and Monster 696. Both use cheaper components and yet we have 7kg saving out of box.
