To sad but then again here in Belgian things are getting worse. I'm already at least é weeks off from work on doctors advice and might not even be able to travel to UK in the first place as I have to cross some borders. Already got word from Eurochunnel that i can rebook my train trip so normally and hopefully september would be no problem. And it is raining always in Wales anyway :-)

Who told you it always rains in Wales as that’s simply not true!

Sometimes it snows too.

Would good to see you in September.
How do you stop someone crossing a boarder when there are no immigration posts in the EU?
Ok, the number plate could be a give away in another country, but I've travelled hundreds of miles in europe on back roads and never seen a policeman!

I’ve passed loads of border posts on my European travels, either with shutters up or derelict, you just don’t notice a lot of them in laybys that aren’t used.

RAF Valley still on

A bit of good news for a change......

RAF Valley have cancelled their track day but are still happy to invite anyone who fancies a run out on the Saturday for a mooch round the base. If anyone can still make it please PM me with your name and bike reg ASAP so I can let them know.

Thanks

Chris

Stay safe

Well, today was the day many of us were looking forward to, monsters at the ready, luggage packed, meeting points arranged and a weekend of bikes and banter on the horizon.

Who could have foreseen how this pandemic has gripped the Country and indeed the World? The shoots of recovery are at least being planned it seems with Bolognia planning limited restart of production at the end of this month , I suspect there will be a new " normal " for quite some time.

With lockdown measures in place, public venues closed and gatherings limited to 2 persons arranging anything is impossible ,so we have just got to suck it up and above all stay safe and well until this is over.
If it's any consolation the weather up here has taken a turn for the worse, it's pants at the moment......maybe things happen for a reason, although this one is a bit extreme !

Stay safe everyone, hope to meet up soon.....ish.

Looking back, its seems hard to believe that just a couple of months ago we were all looking forward to a full year of unfettered biking and the prospect of cancelling the weekender was the last thing any of us were contemplating.
Since that time I haven't travelled a single inch by motorcycle.
How suddenly and massively things have changed.

Here's looking forward to being able to meet up again in september and get out and put some miles under our wheels.
Thanks again, Mike, for your work on our behalf.
You certainly drew the short straw on these last two weekenders but have risen admirably to the challenge.

Took a sneaky run through Rossett on my way for new tyres and brake pads this morning, the sun was out locally but it was at last year's temperature so I was well chilled when I got back

Hi Tom, that good news for Belgium, you must post a picture from your first ride out, ...we have forgotten what it looks like!

Fingers crossed we see you in September.
