Newbie member

Hi Folks
Just bought my first Monster, a new red 797 from Ducati Coventry.
Hubby used to be a member of UKMOC, MilesB.
Long story, but I was recently knocked off my beloved 2001 zx6r by an uninsured scoooter rider. Wrote off bike and broke my arm. Bought the monster as a replacement as I always fancied the one Miles had.
Hope to meet you guys sometime.
We knew Slob, AlanC and Albie from when Miles was with the group.
Sue xx

Talking

And hello again from me... imagine my surprise that my old login still worked!
Still on an Italian V-twin, but one with a shaft drive (Yay, no chain maintenance)... my V7 Classic has become a cafe racer, and is much better for it, scarily now being not dissimilar to my old M900ie.
Soon to be spotted gamely chasing Mrs B on her new Monster.

Hopefully you and your good lady will join in on our outings.

Hello and welcome.

I had a 2001 ZX-6R for a while. Comfy, smooth gearbox, sounded nice (with a can). I even tracked it once, and although it was a little bit 'soft' for that it was a lot of fun. I sold it to a mate and he still uses it as his commuter, so I still get to see it from time to time. Great bike.

Welcome to the forum Sue, glad a broken arm didn't stop you from wanting another bike.

Hi all
Thanks for the welcome!
If there are any rideouts up in the Midlands / Wales / Cotswolds / Peaks areas we are up for it.
