Well good news, I’m being moved to a different hospital.
Out of ‘Major Trauma’ and into ‘Orthopaedic’ Centre.

like jason bloody bourne, got outside on crutches today, bloody hard work and quite sore but i found the sweet spot with meds, pain ok but clear head. rest for a bit now!
all boxes ticked towards recovery.

gaza, if you get a chance to visit, the old boy in the next bed (far worse than me) is a huge model aircraft enthusiast ;-)

So sorry to hear about your accident, deepest sympathy for the busted ribs - I had a small off last year & cracked a couple of ribs, couldn't believe how debilitating & painful it was, every time you sneeze it's like a grenade going off inside your chest!
Get well soon, it's always a good day to be alive

Working on it Rob, but family matters are keeping me busy!
What's your new location?

I could come and see you and spend the whole time talking to the guy in the next bed whilst eating all your grapes..
