Had a cr*p experience there too. Don't even use Ducati recommended oils etc for their servicing - maybe others don't too but when you're paying Ducati servicing prices (for warranty), you expect to get Ducati recommended items.

+ You'd expect them to give 110% seeing as they're new etc.

Do the indys sell new bikes?

Just after a few bits and have decided to use anyone else aprt from them. But hey the other bits of the same dealer are also poor.

Got my last service at Ducati Dave in Wandworth, nice bloke been working on ducatis for 30 years apparently. Oh and Simon le bon [sp?] takes his bikes there if your a Duran Duran fan (I'm not!) and cliff Richard has his car stereo stuff fitted at a shop in the same street... but you didn't hear it here.

Buying bikes in London

It's always been the case in London that you buy a bike from a dealer and never go back. Thirty years ago when we were all buying from Elite Motors in Tooting it was just the same, they sold the bikes for the right price but you would never have trusted their "mechanics".

Find a decent independent for your servicing. I use Bill at Roebotech, he's reasonably priced (cash only), fully Ducati trained and has a link with Daytonas so he can deal with warranty work. He trades from APC's at South Harrow. I'm sure there are others dotted about.

He's got my 748 now for the heads to be done. My wallet is hiding round here somewhere.............................

I can also recommend Rosso Corsa in Mile End (or somewhere around there, innit). I used to get spares from Daytona and work done at Rosso. Have had nightmares with work at Daytonas, but parts guys at Ruislip are ace.

[QUOTE=Chaos Inc.]Please remember, Daytona Kings Cross workshop is very different to Ruislip branch and I would hope that I have been helpful with regards to parts.

Always been first class as far as I'm concerned

It was 'Congratulations' Version francais (Eurovision 2nd place), for my parents wedding anniversary. Apparently they played it at the wedding reception in 1968!

Didn't expect that answer did you now!
