DP Conti silencers.
No! don't titter. There might be a pair out there?
I'm looking for bright polished or chrome preferably but would actually be surprised if anyone had a pair for sale at all. I'll probably end up adapting some bevel Contis, but thought I would ask here first. They look like Smiffy's here on his old 750. He advertised them a long time ago but I thought about it a bit too long!!

Thanks Albie. I'd seen the Keihan catalogue, They've been about a long time and the quality is very good. Armours do the short 750GT Conti in stainless about £100 cheaper though.

Those long conical silencers look a bit odd on a Monster, possibly just because you don’t see many, but they are absolutely the sweetest sounding pipes I’ve heard.

I'd agree with both those points Rob, but they are not for a Monster.. All will be revealed in the fullness of time..

Nice one Kato.
Only £1200 for a pair of silencers and then £80 for the clamps.. Why have cotton when you can have silk eh?

I’ll second the Keihan options, I have a set on my SC1000s, sound good and look great.
Keihan may even be able to make you something bespoke if you ask.

Armour Motor Products in Southampton could well be your best bet.
I've had 2 very good experiences with them, first making some bespoke outside polished stainless silencers for a kit car I built and second in a complete system for my 3 1/2 Moto Morini which was beautifully made and fitted perfectly |

Thanks for all the tips folks.
I have fond memories of filling in my Armours order forms and posting them off with a cheque inside. They did alright out of me with various Triumphs, Ajays and Matchlesses. Had one recent experience with their competitors in Hampshire, Feked.com, and won't go back there again! Looks like I'll be trying out Armours online ordering for the first time unless a pair of Monster DP Contis magically appear.

Mr G, if they're not for a Monster how about looking at a pair of Mistral pipes like I fitted to my Guzzi V7?
They do a range of pipes and finishes all with removable baffles and they are top notch quality wise in my opinion. I ordered directly from the factory (post Brexit) and as they are registered in the UK too I didn't pay any extra duty. Couldn't have been better to deal with, they replied to emails super quick and the exhausts were with me in about a week or so.

These are only replica Contis, Mr G, and they're listed as being for a Darmah but at only £235 for the pair, could they be adapted?

Sorry Flip, nothing in the Mistral range that appeals.
Thanks Vince, I've used the Classic Bike Shop a few times for Commando bits, they are good quality and priced okay, quick delivery too. Replica Contis seems to be the way to go, adaption shouldn't be an issue as they will probably be on bespoke pipes and mountings. DP Contis would be an easy hit on Monster pipes to start with in the unlikely event of a nice pair materialising, but I'm not holding my breath. This has been an interesting exercise though, thank you to all for your input...
