Rear cylinder removal in frame M900 easy or too awkward

Hi guys just asking the question in public although I have been kindly told the rear can be removed in the frame I would imagine its tight.
I really don't have an issue removing the engine from the frame as I would like the frame repainted again not using rattle cans over the powdercoat.and painted by a professional. I don't mind all the work to do the right thing but that could be done after I see whether the bike runs good again after the work.
Its been a tedious few weeks after all the work I did especially the last 9 months thinking all would be good but at the end of the day the duff ring caused me a problem and I was not expecting it.
This time I cannot send the engine away as Alec is purely doing servicing bikes and I am not going to interrupt that so I will have to go it alone this time but hope if anyone can assist me with advice or help it will be rewarded with gratitude or recompense.

I am not quite ready to start it yet as the bike lift has my xt500 in mid flight but not so much it cant come down so I am hoping by June it can be started at least.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you again. Lots of looking to do first then in case. I can see it as a benefit in the first instance.

I've had the rear cylinder off with engine in the frame, no problem.

I think on the old SS, it's not possible due to the frame but Monster is fine.

As you can see in the second pic, plenty of room.

Oh yes, it's a little more 'snug' on an SS.
