I know 2007 is. There is no engine difference between s2r 2005 and 2007. I think there is no difference also between m800.

The only reason 2007 is ok is cause it is 2007. Having COC for 2006 and 2005 model and submitting it to TFL would exempt those model.s

Diesel is completely different ball game. Some 2014 Diesels are a no

Although the pre- and post-2007 S2R 800 motors might be the same, the exhaust system changed in 2007 when it went from Euro 2 to Euro 3, gaining a lambda sensor in the process.

As an aside to this, but related.
I heard that they are going to put up the road tax for cars exceeding 191g/kg of CO2, to £500 a year. That bracket is currently £305 I think.
It kind of kills my dream of an Alfa V6 as there is nothing below 202g/kg on my wish list!

At the other end of the scale, my Commando won't even need an MOT.

When they extend to n and s circ I'll prob get a new bike. That said as someone pointed out to me, the logic of spending £6k to avoid £250 p year on ulez charges is a little flawed, but it's a new bike
