S2R Single Disc - Done!
Managed to collect all the parts and a big thanks to Ducati Proteam for a great service and fitting it all!
749/999 4 pad caliper (Mine is actually a gold one from an Aprilia RSV) Brembo pads (sintered white backed ones - cant remember the code) Brembo Serie Oro disc Brembo PS16 Master Cylinder Hel Lines OEM covers for the space left by the old caliper and a cover for the disc on the other side (I used part numbers from other single disc monsters) I think a CF 'diversion' style mudguard will finish off the look nicely! |

I bought the caliper used as a single and the disc was new as a single too

I've heard of converting single disk to twin but not the other way round. What was the original logic, purely weight saving?

Choosing a single disc was mainly cosmetic but it's also an upgrade from the OEM twin disc setup that the 800 comes with. Plus for road use the difference between my setup and a twin disc is negligible.

I'm a big fan of personalised bikes. Good for you & the bike looks great.
