Perfect colour match, bit of a nightmare with Ducati though, 2001 was the "transition" year for Red, Anniversary Red, Ducati Red and another I can't remember!

Phoned my local dealer.... Q what red is on the system? Ans "red "Q "yeah, but whats the code"? A "red".

Luckily the paint guy knew what he was doing and got a perfect match.

Taste wins out and looks like a nice repair job too. Stripes are acceptable on S or RS models or Tricolores, on any others they just look like a 'me too' kinda thing. And stickers are cheap and nasty too, got to be proper painted and laquered.

Glad you got a good match because red is just the worst colour to match because it fades so bad with time anyway.

Should be off centre stripe for S and centre stripe for Tricolore or RS bikes all others are plain colour!
