2018 monster
Hi
I have used the connector under the left side of the tank for my heated winter jacket, So now i need an outlet for the satnav... I've tried to use the heated grips connector as these have blanks in them but they appear to not have power!!!! Any ideas? |

The 4 pin diagnostics connector under the seat of most recent Ducatis carries +12V, GND, and two wires for the CAN bus. You can power a sat nav straight from the battery using this connector, just leave the CAN pins unconnected.
I've done this on several bikes. Works a treat. |

I think the heated grips live is controlled from the dash and has to be activated by a dealer.

Yep heated grips need to be turned on from dash.
However just under tank on R on left side there is also alarm connector. It has both constant 12V and ignition switched 12V
