I thought the RS came with carbon chain gaurds/mudguards/radiator/belt covers etc as standard? Yoiu can never have enough carbon though esp. if it replaces crappy black plastic really.

What radiator guards did you get?

The are Aella ones from Japan.

It was those or some Australian ones from Cox Racing but they were held on by cable ties that looked a but rubbish.

They were the only two makes I could find that still did them for the S4RS

Thanks, so looking at around £200 for one of those then?

I've seen the Cox ones and tbh feel the same. I did read on another forum that the Cox 999 one will fit and looking at the pics on the website it would seem to be the same as 916/996 as well except for the oil cooler one.

I'm currently wondering if the Evotech 1098 ones will fit as they look very similar to the Aella and don't use cable ties:-

Yes a bit less than that as I managed to get a discount from the supplier. Worth asking them before ordering.

The Evotech 1098 ones do look very similar and I wondered if they would fit when i was looking but with my luck I would buy them and then they don't fit and then I buy the model specific ones and end up spending even MORE

The only other option I have found was this one, similar to the Cox ones but a load cheaper

https://www.moto-vision.com/en/radia...6-998-999.html

Have emailed Evo Tech about the 1098 one so will see what they say.

That is a great price but again it looks like it uses cable ties to attach.

I might consign myself to use one with cable ties for the time being at that price. I've got a spare radiator and have the oil cooler screen already. The issue with the 1098 one that I can see if they are the same is the angle of the brackets would appear to be different so it might fit but the brackets won't line up the same so it might look odd.

FYI I looked at the Cox Racing ones but after the shipping and duties from Australia, although the Aella ones were still more, it wasn't silly money more, for a much more aesthetically pleasing final result.

Have a look at these second hand ones too :

The one from France wanted another 25 euro postage so I bought one of these in the end: -

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302921039...IAAOSw9idZ7wyw

I roughly measured my 748 radiator as best I could in situ and looked to be the same size as S4/S4R.

Ok it uses cable ties or you can use llockwire but for that money I really don't care that much.
It arrived this morning and fits the S4R rad perfectly. The oil cooler one clearly won't fit the Testastretta oil rad and it looks too big for the S4/S4R Desmoquattro type.I'm not bothered about the oil cooler as I have an Evotech one. Could maybe use it on the 748 but that already has one built into the fairing V piece.
