Warning lights post 2002

Hi all, as ever on going issues with putting together components that were never intended to go together. 2007 DS engine. 2004 wiring, 2007 ECU, instruments from ?, My problem is that when I turn on the ign switch all the warning lights come on, then the orange immobilizer flashes two times before staying on, & the EOBD light goes out, at which point I can start the engine, but the top five warning lights stay on until the bike is put in gear. In gear the warning lights function fine, put it back into neutral and on come the top five warning lights again. Anybody any thoughts on why this might be?

Not necessarily related is the fact that in neutral the engine starts/runs/blips fine, but in gear only runs at a little over tick over, currently working on this one as a fuel issue. All thoughts very welcome, particularly from those who understand electronics ecu's etc. From one very frustrated Bitza.
