Cheap M600 project £700
Hi all,
I have a 1997 model M600 for sale, all complete and original apart from the colour. Sold as a non runner, believed to be carb issues, I can get it started and it runs badly (with the airbox off), some piston slap type noise from the front cylinder as well which is fairly loud and may need investigating. The condition of the bike is generally fair, engine cases could do with a respray, tank is not dented. Mileage is registered as just 6,200 and I believe this to be correct as it's still on it's original front tyre and the rear is also very old! So will need new tyres really. Battery is poor and will need replacing. No MOT. I bought this bike as a project intending to get it running well but sadly work and lack of spare time means its just taking up garage space! It's too good to break I think! I'm looking for £700 for the bike as it stands and will throw in some spare bits I have, spare cylinder heads etc. There is a folder of paperwork with the bike and the V5 is in my name. Located in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. If no-one here wants it then it's off to eBay next week! Last edited by Zimbo; 16-06-2018 at 07:25 PM.. |
