Looks very nice Darren...
...Funnily enough I had been planning to do just that to my front blade, but in red rather than black. Perkles has got me thinking about chequers rather than the stripe now though.. |

Just found out a bit more, sorry for the thread hijack mate but I thought it was relevant here.
1996 last service done at 12,000 and now done 27,000 ! Needs paintwork, tank, new rear tea tray, new rear shock, wheels put back to standard colour and probably a total strip down to redo the frame etc. He wants £1000, I'm thinking closer to £500 ? Good points, totally unmolested standard and no mods whatsoever |

I fitted NGK Racing one pieces (no separate HT cap); they screw into the HT coils.

If you have a peek down the hole that the HT lead goes in you may see what looks like the point of a little brass woodscrew.
The core of the lead just screws straight onto that...It is possible to screw onto the insulation and make a dry connection. I got my Ducati decals like yours today, and I wondered if you laquered over yours straight away... They say to leave them a week and wipe them over with soapy water, but I like to get that laquer on a bit sooner than that? |

Thanks Gaz I suppose the coils connections are a pig to get at.I fit and lacquer over loads of transfers straight away just make sure you apply a bit of heat with a hairdryer after and push any air bubbles out
heres how the old girl is starting to take shape |

Thanks Perkles..I am more familliar with the waterslide type decals for my model aircraft which I design and print myself.
She's really starting to look something special now me laddio....Bit jealous of your straight bars, I can't fit them on mine without huge risers, because of the adjusters on my forks. Are you going to paint the wheels as well? |
