Hi guys

Went out with my son today to play on some bikes. And we both ordered....................RC8`s!!!! The bike wasn`t on either of our shortlists but after 5 mins it was at the top.

Most of my riding has been sports bikes and track days. I haven`t ridden for five years and have a neck injury so the sports bike was out because I can`t tilt my head back. So, my list was Monster, Hypermotard, Speed Triple, Street Triple, SD, SDR. I rode the RC8 because it was there, not epecting it to be an option. However it was, for me, comfortable. The 848 and 1098 were extreme. As for the bikes capabilities???................way in excess of my talent!!!

Seems like a certain forum virus has migrated over there too. Mind you some good tongue & cheek humour.

You've brought a fantastic bike imo and went there with an open mind - if a bike can win you over in such a short period of time it can't be a bad thing. Hope it can offer you the same enjoyment and more in the longer term. Have fun, fella!

Thanks guys, much appreciated. Jerry, I now need to get a track bike and your idea of a Desmoduo race bike is a good one. I`m going to try and go that route if I can find one. As you say, all the necessary goodies, set up for not a load of money. ANY OFFERS??
