Probably a silly question but is there a difference between a 1000sie and a 1000Ds and if so what is it?

Thanks for the nice comments guys its much appreciated,

I was looking at the M1000 and the S4s but the old school in me won over I just love air cooled twins.

I was playing around with it on the way home today and the smooth delivery really impressed me but nail it in third and it just had me grinning and laughing like a big kid, it feels quite different to my old M900 I used to have.

Good choice! Also means I don't have to say unpleasant things about your new bike.

Those pipes are the business. Very nice motorbike.

That's a shame, I'm heading to Southend for the shakedown.
Anyone else going?
