You are spot on mate .......I was having a rant the other day, excluding ride outs we grab occasionally we plan twelve monthly meets.....3 are during winter so assume no bikes....that leaves 9 days that we would like it to be dry ...out of 365 !!!!!! I am actually improving my weather predicting better than my riding at the moment !!!!!!

Just checked and Oulton Park for BSB is the same weekend as the Southport Air Show not next weekend - I'll try and do that on Saturday so I can join everyone for the air show on the Sunday - weather permitting of course...

Was good seeing everyone again today - hopefully we can get some more runs out and that little list looks good for September. Be great to see a few new faces pop along to any run outs or next months Sunday brekky get together.

....which is your favoured route into southport mate ? Shortest for me would be tunnel and dock road but it's a chore, how about I come to you and we do A570. ?

Hi Mike,

No worries bud, I was thinking Cosford could be done after the October meet as we are part way there at lockgate.

Have a good weekend and will catch up again soon,

Ok folks so we have a meeting place for Sunday, the Brandreth barn tea rooms, just off the A59 at Burscough. If we aim to meet at 11:30 it allows time for a cuppa and chat before heading off to the air show.Chris has volunteered to guide is into Southport from there avoiding the traffic.

Fingers crossed for good weather...... meaning dry and hopefully clear ! See you Sunday

Hello all

I'll do a run tomorrow to see how long it will take to get to the Esplanade car park with the extra traffic, normally it would be about 25 mins.

If you are heading up the A59 you go over the 2 mini roundabouts in Burscough and then first left on to Red Cat Lane, Brandreth is about a mile on the left after you've gone through the traffic calming.

See you Sunday

The ladies at the tea room are looking forward to seeing us - 'the more the merrier'. 25 mins should get us to the carpark
