Yeah! Great. Get it out of storage after 7 years and give it good cranking over!!.. But the belts have only done a thousand miles and definitely not much more than 11 years old.

I'll bet the tires are a similar age.

I've lost count of how many times I've seen Ducatis advertised like this.

It's probably a blessing that it didn't start otherwise would be looking at a pile of cycle parts and a wrecked engine! It's surprising it would even turn over after all this time unless the battery was replaced anyway. It's sad that bikes can get like this but unfortunately they do, my own 748 hasn't turned a wheel in 5 years and since the battery died hasn't been started but still a great bike awaiting rescue. Same thing for that one.

Unfortunately funds haven't allowed me to get it back to running order and lack of funds are indeed the issue with the S4 not being on the road for the last 2 years either. Won't sell either just mothballed for now.

I hope a long lost relative -after a very long and happy life- bequeaths you a wodge and you can redo both immediately!

Running or not the 748 is a thing of great beauty and very easy on the eye, much better running though.
Showed mine the sun today, not wet, no salt or grit around just a bit parky even at what is a moderately relaxed pace for a 748.. damn thing is soo quick
