Stanchions..... replace or replace??

For a 1996 750...

Some claim replating gets better results than new.... both seem pricey

Any advice of recommendations appreciated

Lololol. Yeah probably should’ve read that right the first time. No had any experience with them myself.

Vaguely remember a Mate using wet and dry to rub his down then polishing up.

Any YouTube vids or that on them?

You could try these guys
http://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk/forks.php
No personal experience but whenever someone on a forum gives someone a good mention I save the address in a folder
For new old stock you might try these people - again no personal experience just a saved name

Another vote for http://www.pittedforks.co.uk/
I used them a few years back and was very pleased with the results.

I've used this place before and can recommend:-

https://www.hardchromeplating.co.uk/forks-rechroming

They used to be in Newark but look to have moved to Mansfield now.

@Darren69

This is the one I’m most likely to go with.
£175 to have a pair rechromed
