cleaning engine ??

Finally after 2 years im in Thailand ,, its a bit surreal as everthing is different , all is like a ghost town ,, also I have been ill for 4 days it started in UK got worse on crap BA flight now I cant eat anything been 4 days , alternative constipation then runs , and being sick but I dont have covid ??

anyway examining the bike half of it lying on floor of spare room the frame wheels, tank etc and many parts are refurbed painted and shiny but the engine is filthy the side cases have been powder coated , but the rest of the engine looks terrible although mechanicly its fine .. need ideas on how to clean it by hand on the floor ??? maybe respray i too as it is silver/grey painted in factory

also whilst checking all my carefully stored parts I noticed one of the fuel injector nozzles is missing ?????? weird but worrying unobtaianable here .

I've always found Gunk and a selection of various brushes/old toothbrushes pretty good at getting rid of gunk. Not sure I would do it in the spare room though, think even I would draw the line there as it stinks and likely to make a mess!

Gunk not available here in fact I dont know what solvent cleaner is available , even if I drag engine outside cant spray an open engine full of water unless I put on alternator or clutch side cases on as they are spotless new powdercoated ..i dont want to scratch them up turning the damn heavy thing over if i put them on ?? and there are lots of other holes to seal ???

Well plan is to hunt out some engine degreaser and cleaner , stiff brush and may be a power washer? i have hose outside and mask up all the holes as best as possible with gaffer tape and bungs and put the other covers on temporary whilst washing

Could you use parafin or maybe diesel?

I just looked up SDS on Gunk.com and its its active ingredients are mostly ethanol and carbolic acid with a bit of sodium carbonate.

I found the missing injector,, somehow i had filed it in wrong boix ???Phew

diesel is a bit oily as i want to spray engine when clean it might make the surface too slick

parafin is available
my lady is making all thsi a bit of a nightmare she is being paranoid needy , jealous and unreasonable ..I want to walk away but then i would not have a place to fix up the bike

i even spoke with a shipping agency could get it and all my tools and possessions shipped to UK for about £1000 .. not sure what an S4 in 400 pieces and a tool chest would cost me in VAT and customs is it even worth the bother ,,

I sprayed my s4 engine with smooth satin hammerite. It needs to cure a while and stays soft unless engine running during. I had a heater when I painted mine in the garage in a big box in late January.
