Wossner piston kits
Hi guys anyone had any experience using the Wossner piston and ring sets . Going to get one next few days to try and get this engine done.

No experience of Wossner but, my advice is check what the rings are made from.
I used JE psitons and had problems with bore wear due incompatibility of chrome rings/nikasil coating, I think I've cured it now with new rings and replate but it caused me much hassle/expense over the years.

I had Wossner pistons and rings in my Kawasaki triple two stroke so not obviously comparable ( !! ) or probably even relevant but I mention it because these pistons were forged and care had to be taken when measuring the correct clearance for rebores . I think the clearances were smaller than usual as these pistons expanded less than conventional ones as the engine warmed up
