The trip was a great experience for us, we really enjoyed the adventure. Plenty of variation in the roads (and weather). Dartmoor was lost to the rain and fog sadly.
On the Sunday morning we popped into St Ives before a fast blast home. Low and behold, we met James (Grumpy) and Duncan pulling in as we were pulling out from our lunch stop. Thanks Duncan for a reminder to take the A420 to Oxford where we stopped for a cuppa and more fuel. I haven't ridden that road for years, then Aylesbury, Buzzard and home to Biggleswade. 963 miles for me this weekend. I don't think anyone noticed I was on a Honda either.... New Monster picked up on the 17th June so normal service resuming soon. I hope the photo sharing thingy works here..... https://markhornett.smugmug.com/orga...-Coast-10-6-17 |
