Uksurfers M600

This is how the bike started, i bought it of a friend who found it in a garage in January 2008, it had been parked up for 4 years, and with 2400 miles on it, it was done up.
It had new cans, tyres, belts, service etc etc

Tail chop, mini indicators, lowered exhausts, no.plate

This is how the bike looks today, now done 4100 miles!
Renthals, bar end mirrors, moved the indicators, and a bit more cleaning.

Next task is to fit the mini speedo and light cluster.
Hope you like it!

Very nice!

Is the tail chop hard to do? I've just bought a 600 dark that I want to start working on and that is something I want to do. Also what are the cans?

Cheers

He found it? You mean like he went into the garage to get a few nails or something and thought, bloody hell, theres a motorbike in the corner there, must have been there when I moved in and I missed it

Bike looks cool now though

its amazing what you find in a garage- i might have a look in mine later, see if theres one in there!

tail chop - easy enough, time more than anything else, theres always something you will forget....., and, theres loads of threads on here, really helpful bunch! (put 'tail chop' in the search bar at top of page)

Remus cans, think there 'Ducati Performance'

cheers for the comments, speedo extension arrived today (go and find a bike in the garage)

i'm not sure if any of you remember this bike, but just over a year ago i sold my M600 to a chap in france, who asked for all the parts i had 'hacked' off, to put it back to standard, so i put all the old bits in a box to go with the bike, and here is the end result!!
(he's now sold it and has bought another one)

Looks Good

Just realized, and re-read, that the M600 wasn't Albie's bike ... ha
