2 Bike insurance, for Modern & Classic

Hi folks, My insurance is up for renewal on my S4 and I would like to know where / how I can get the cheapest method (fully comp) of having my S4 and my 1978 Guzzi California on the same policy, if you know what I mean.

All the best

Carole Nash

Carole Nash on line quotes for my two renewals were cheaper than the telephone quote for a 2 bike policy.

e-bike didn't like my superbike but warmed to the Ducati but could not beat Carole Nash.

Go Compare and Confused produced different quotes from the same companies.

Give this a try.

Go on line, any company, make sure you enter your contact phone number.

Do nothing.

You will get a phone call from someone who`s sole job it is to convert lost quotes.

Start the conversation off along the lines, yes i`ve got the quote, miles too expensive, you will after do better to get my business.

Sit back and grin as the premium shrinks.

I speak from experience.

Fully comp on a 600 Fazer and 900 monster down from £220 to £165.

what have you got to loose?

My MV was £161.00 fully comp. One of the advantages of being bald and grey. Old, basically !

The Guzzi will put you onto a combined Classic / Modern policy which Carole Nash and Footman James can provide. Im forced to keep an old bike in my garage to take advantage of the savings where my insurance is cheaper for 3 bikes than for just one of the Ducatis! Also check the excess, these combined classic policies often have a £75 excess rather than the £250 that seems normal now.

Thanks Duncan !!! and thanks to all who give me pointers to the cheapest insurance, it's all sorted now.

I've got combined Fully Comp cover on my S4 and my Guzzi 850 T3 Cali, through Carole Nash for the outrageous sum of £178.25
Extremely chuffed, as one place wanted £250.75, just for the S4

Thank you all once again !!!

All the best

Nice one Baz.

Footman James for me on a classic and agreed value policy (can you believe that on paper my 888 is only worth £2750 ? - I was offered £7k for it 2 years ago !!!!). As i'm considddeeerraaaaaaaaablaaaaaayyy younger than yow I have to cough up £382 a year - but that was for 4 dukes and now the s4r's gone i should be entering the £250 region when my renewals up in september...

Classic bikes - the way forward...
