Unfortunately things did not go to plan. It seems Carlin Dunne lost control just yards from the finish line. I can't find much information at the moment but, according to his team-mate, he will be ok, although no detail were given about any injuries.

A real shame as his time through the sections would have put him first or second.

Sad day unfortunately mistakes have massive consequence there. My friend Rob Barber crashed last year and a minor elsewhere became a major ... but this year took 4th on the Nottingham Uni Electric. Eric Wilson took 14th at first try. Great riders both of them.
