I'm with Slob, they were **** after Lemmy left!

Good call on Alex Harvey CD. I have all the SAHB albums all brilliant, but that looks a good 3 CD set for £5!

Watermelon Slim @ the Blues Kitchen tonight, saw Shuffy there too. He’s (slim not shuffy) playing Devizes, Long Street Blues Club, this Friday 28th June. If you’re in Wiltshire and like the blues, get yourself down there for a rare treat!

Hollywood Vampires new one 'Rise' and can't beat a bit of Alice and with Joe Perry too its much better than the first one. Only 3 covers this time (Joe sings the Johnny Thunders one and Johnny Depp does a pretty decent David Bowie impersonation for Heroes, the other one I think is an obscure Wildhearts cover and the rest originals.

Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown 'Truth and Lies' not sure what to make of this atm as its early days but I loved the other ones more over time.

Rolling Stones - LA Forum Live in 1975 - Classic Mk3 Stones before they went all sh!t 80's style pop!

Enjoying some of the Glasto coverage, so far liked Idles, Wu Tang Clan and Stormzy. Annoyed Sleaford Mods were not shown but thats life.

On the whole the line up seems pretty poor for my tastes, a bit poppy even.

Mrs watched The Killers while I was watching GoT on headphones, said they put on a good show and they seemed to be on for a a couple of hours. Then Pet Shop Boys came on so it went off straightaway! It is a pop festival these days though as is Reading/Leeds which is a shame.

Going all Southern Rock tonight. Gov't Mule Bring On the Music Part 1 and Allman Betts Band (next gen Allman and Betts that is) and they're not bad!

Why oh why isn't Gov't Mule available in a 6 disk box? I've got to buy 2 versions to get it all (2cd standard version and 4 disk deluxe version) madness! And the packaging is cr@p cheap card tri-fold and not sealed at each end so all the disks and booklet slide about from one to the other. Meh, moan over the music is brilliant as expected anyway. But CD packaging these days is going right down hill.
