Florence to Bologna via Futa pass tomorrow!

Not on the Monster but in wifey's MX5. Should be fun - I will keep an eye out for any new Ducati model being road tested (V4 Monster perhaps?)

We went on the train and were disappointed that it was nearly all underground so didnt see much but it got there really quick though!

I think I might have been on that route in 2011, I remember stopping for an ice- cream in San Pelligrino. Looks as though it goes straight into Imola which is a bonus.

passes futa and raticosa join at chalet raticosa, which is a cafe that’s hard to miss, three roads coming together on a hilltop and a front door with more bike club stickers on than you can shake a stick at

Yes, we stopped there today for a leg stretch & photo. Quite a few bikes but not a single (Or twin)Ducati to be seen. I think there must be another San Pellegrino further north near lake como I am thinking about.

Btw, slow Italian drivers do exist, We got stuck behind a couple today!
