1999 m900 clutch cover

Hi

I’m after a clutchcover for my 1999 M900. It has an open cover and I’d prefer a closed one.

I note there’s one on eBay but it’s from a 1994 M900. Does anyone know if that would fit a 1999?

Thanks

Mark

If it’s an ally one it fits fine, but leave off the rubber gasket that goes with the steel cover.

Darkness is spot on. The actual crankcases/clutch housings are effectively the same so the clutch covers themselves are interchangeable. The later steel covers transmitted more noise due to resonance, so the thick rubber gasket was fitted to damp down the "ringing".

Somewhere between ‘94 and ‘98.

A lot of them have been changed over the years though.

Hi Mark,

I think I've a spare one in my garage, I think it's a steel one, if you want I can have a look later and let you know.

Hi Wayne. Thanks for this.
When I heard most years were he same I went off and bought the one on EBay. But thanks so much for the offer. Let me see if the one I’ve bought fits and get back to you? Sounds like I might need a rubber gasket also.

Thanks again.

You can’t have too many Elefants on an M900.
