Parts Catalogue ?

Hello,

As i have been working and doing various things on my bike i have noticed the odd bolt and screw missing, either careless previous owner or vibrated out.

Is there anywhere online i can order the individual bolts from a list or is it a dealer type thing?

Any help will be great.

Cheers !!!

Crikey... DON'T go to a dealer, they'll charge like a wounded Rhino.

A local industrial supplier of Fixings and Fittings (that have a retail counter) will be your best bet.

If you need some of the "Special" pretty machined screws, like for instance the ones that hold the rear seat cover on, then you'll have little choice, although there's always "the Bay".

But for standard screws/nuts/washers etc, then there's always a local set up that can supply them.

put your bike in here for the full parts list, i would be careful just going on ebay as ive seen things on there for £20 and the main dealer charge £7

personally i like to put all standard ducati nuts and bolts on mine, where ive before bought black bolts from my local tool shop they often discolour over time

Black bolts will rust, Ducati plated bolts corrode after time, I prefer Stainless Steel for most applications.

Stainless is lovely for most places but remember they don't have a very good sheer resistance so don't use them for brake caliper mounts and the like.

Also remember that if left undisturbed into engine cases the alloy will corrode to the stainless with the likely result of the screw sheering when you go to undo it, which means it'll be a bit of a pickle to drill out of the engine case (Cobalt drill bits are the order in that case).
