These went on mine after a major service that had required tank off. Fired bike up and noticed small petrol leak almost immediately. Could indeed sort of squeeze them back to fit, tighter but didn’t seem a v positive connection. So fitted new ones in the end which made a much more reassuring ‘click’ on fitting. So if yours don’t click I’d replace them. Cheaper than replacing a burnt out bike…
