New Dash Or What?

Hi Guys

Just picked up my 2014 Monster 1200

I knew the dash had a hairline scratch on it when I got it, and then in my stupid haste to try and fix that, I have now made it worse

FYI don't use a Dremmel to polish your dash!

Been quoted £728 for new dash from Ducati (better than I thought TBH)

But is there any way to just replace the plastic cover? (not a DIY as I will fxxk that up)

There is nothing wrong with the dash, so it seems mad to have to replace the entire unit just for a few marks on the exterior plastic cover?
