Which valve for an M900?

Hi guys,

Looking at the OEMDucati.com site there are two part numbers for the inlet valves on the 900.

21010152A and 21010035A

I put both part numbers into bike-parts-ducati.com and 21010152A is superseded with 21010151A at £83.95 and 21010035A is still valid at £110.94.

What would the difference be between the two if anyone knows?

When I follow more part details on the 151A number there is no mention of a 900 (on bike-parts-ducati.com), even though the site says this superseded the 900 number from the other catalogue. With the 152A number the earliest mention is a 2001 900ie in the compatibility list.

I know, just call Ducati and ask but I just wondered if any of the gurus here could give me a heads up.

The 21010035A is a 43mm dia valve to use with the V2 spec. heads, whereas, the 21010151A is the smaller 35mm dia 750 type that Ducati used in the 900 too for several years in the 90s. I think those head castings are marked as W2.

21010035A, £110 for one valve!! Ouch...

Tried straightening mine but instead bit the bullet and bought a new one. I'd rather know I've fixed it properly than have it in the back of my mind that it is stil not 100%.
