Looks great! A lot of work but I'm sure a great deal of satisfaction.

Next time you use postimage for pics, use the "hotlink for forums" and the pics will be full size.

Had you considered fitting Hypermotard oil lines?
It tidies up the timing side no end and makes it easier to get the belt covers off.
All the info here.. http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ight=oil+lines

You can go further, and make up a starter cable 700mm long, which can be routed over the engine and down the left side to the starter, rendering it almost invisible.

Thanks all for your comments and feedback. I like the idea of cleaning up the belt side using the Hypermotard oil lines and extending the starter cable. Thanks for the suggestion

That's absolutely mint, Adam. I do like your interpretation of the black/gold SS scheme. An old pedant like me would say that the only thing it needs now is an old-style oil level badge like Albie's!

Have you got the front rocker covers on upside down?

yes due to the incorrect length of the oil lines supplied by a reputable supplier - a temporary solution to enable me to start the bike. I'm now looking at Hypermotard lines as suggested by Gazza.

Did you know it's possible to replate the original lines. The stainless takes the plating .I always replate my lines including smaller ones and brake line springs. Also xt 500 ones done.
