1200......dsp / dwc / dtc / abs

Which years for the Monster 1200 has the above gadgets?

Am I right in thinking that all of them have DTC and ABS from 2014 onwards.

But the DWC wasn't even on option on the 2014 to 2015, but is standard from 2016?

I've figured it out by downloading all of the owners manuals ... It's only in the 2017 manual so guess than answers my question...

I didn't realise just how different the 2014 version was to the 2017. There are loads of changes. It gets much better reviews. Although I doubt I would notice the difficulty a blind test.
I just want the DWC and the new footpegs so I can take the pillion ones off.

If it helps I have a 1200R and have felt no need to have DWC, the bike doesn't try and flip unless you grab a real hand full in 1st I would imagine, in fact I rarely have a lift of the front wheel, its normally under heavy acceleration if I hit a bump and just a slight close of the right wrists sorts that out and it makes me feel alive

Kinda agree with that, the throttle on the R is quite easy to balance although mine will pick the front up quite readily in 1st and 2nd, even in 3rd over crests...

I think my point was, its not a 2 stroke motocrosser flip you over the back type of power delivery on my test ride the front came up on a bump I throttled off to look down at 3 digits on the speedo fell in love with it then.

Thx mark / ped....

I've only been on the one test ride and never gave it more that maybe 3/4 throttle.... Which was epic compared to my current bike.
I did go over 2 relatively small bumps and the front did get a bit lighter than I'm used to.... Much more and I might of been caught out.
