Thats exactly where it is on my M900 95 . It's the smaller one in vinyl that im now trying to position. The one in the photo link just above

In Leon's first post, he says the label is near the headstock and his picture shows it just before the bend in the frame.

That looks like the tyre and mudguard below, which would suggest it's the left side lower frame rail between the headstock and the first upright, i.e.

Thats it, Thank you. Id seen the curved tube and got fixated with the RHS and couldnt make it work, without thinking there was the same curved tube on the left......Doh!

Interesting. The one above was on a 96, I think wasnt it? 93 or 94 dont have it. 95? Im inclined to think it wouldnt have it, since it shares the metal E3 label with the 93 and 94

OK, continuing the theme. Could someone photograph their chain tension sticker. I know my bike isnt "authentic" to period but if Im going to put that sticker on it , it might as well be the right one!

Trouble is Ducati quote now the replacement part as 43312201A.....but that says "adjust while on centre stand" which is clearly incorrect.

I think the correct part was 43312121A but its now obsolete.

There are lots of possibilities 43311081E, 43312121A to name 2 , but none seem to show the correct combination of style of Swinging arm or reference centre stand.

So it would be useful to see an original stuck on a swinging arm and if possoible the part no reference in the bottom right.

I’m inclined to agree with you Patrick. If you leave it off for now it could be added later.

It would be helpful if the other ‘95 owners could confirm whether theirs have it or not?

This is apparently from an M400 but shows the part no. you mentioned.

A check on the Ducati Coventry site is still showing that part number for £3.76 do it might be worth contacting them or Moto Rapido to see if one is actually available.

Yes, I saw that. So its right for style of s/a and side stand but has the wrong plat , which should be 30mm for the M900 according to thegactory manual. It would be good to see a label actually on an M900

This is a picture from his thread and so it looks like the braced arm graphic is normal for the Monster.

Better image from the eBay seller, which looks like a pretty faithful reproduction.

Yep, seen that one too, wrong swinging arm shown. But i admit maybe they never did do the right one. Needs photo of the label actually on a live bike.
