Frame Decal

Hi all,

I am in the process of having new frame decals made for my 96' M900 but some of the text for one of the decals has rubbed off during the years.
Does anyone out there have a decal or at least just the section I am looking for to share so I can have fresh decals made. (It is the decal close to the head stock with the frame number.)

Is it like these?

The blur after "Motorcycles" in the first picture is "S.p.A.", which you can see in the second photo.





The number you ringed appears to be "432 1 060 2A".

Are you going to fully restore the frame and weld the section of missing frame tubes back on?

Is that sticker a replacement for the ally plate version riveted to the frame beneath the near side c/f side panel on ‘93 and ‘94 Monsters, or as well as?

@Darren no welding is required on my frame. The reason I need to have the frame refurbished is because the previous owner clearly had a brake fluid incident and stained the frame and motor paintwork

It’s usually a battery acid incident on early Monsters, left side of the frame below the tank.

Yes, that's most probably what happened as the bike has a gel battery now.

Oh, shame. I was looking forward to a un-chopped frame thread. It's often mentioned, that the frame is gonna be chopped and shortened but they will keep the off cut bits for the next owner to re-attach should they wish. I just have never seen it done. That's all.

I wouldn't be bothered too much about originality and such like if I were you it's never gonna be concours original again. But like Rob says it's probably battery acid damage anyway, it's very common for those early bikes with the lead/acid battery and usual reg/rec failures.

That was my initial plan to have the 'beer tray' welded back on but until I find a craftsman that can make the join look invisible its better to just plug the holes up.
Also I am not married to the idea of a chopped frame so it can all change in due course

I rewelded the tea tray mounts back onto the S4 using 2 x 50mm hollow slugs inside for strength once powder coated and the Tea tray and mudgaurd is back on no visible signs of welds
