My 900 has a 2mm overbore to 944cc and along with a few other non too radical mods makes 91hp with a very healthy spread of torque. I do know of a 944cc (air cooled) that put out 110hp but the builder/owner put a lot of effort into that. The 3-valve engine from the ST3 is a good compromise and despite being water cooled can 'almost' be made to look as if it's not...
