So here we have an original 2001 S4 front mudguard, very good condition, aidie851 is after £85:00 Ono
Just saying but original s4 front mudguards were carbon fibre . Maybe its painted as they dulled a lot on finish. Ignore if I am wrong saying.

Is it carbon that has been painted? I think the S4 and most of the other S models, except the s2R came with unpainted carbon mudguards. Could be from an S2R? If it came off an S4 however it should fit them all with that same type of fork.

Hi,you are quite correct...the mudguard was bought in error years ago, not realising that there was a difference in the distance of the mounting points on the fork legs.Bought when I had an m900 and found it didn't fit...having a clear out now, hence the sale of this and various other monster parts...it'll fit a few different models of the same era...thanks for looking

Hi Mike

I'll have the teatray please ( assuming it fits a 1995 bike ).

Can you deliver to the Weekender ( he asks cheekily ) ? I'm in no rush.

Thanks

Nigel

i didn't see Albies post before I posted my comments, he's right of course the gloss finish on those was pi$$ poor from the get go and most I have seen that have not been repainted are very dull, otherwise i think the quality of the carbon is good. Probably consistent with most DP parts of that era?

Front mudguard won't fit a '95 bike. It's for the later forks, should fit any old shape model with 25mm front spindle, ~2001 onward BUT NOT with Ohlins forks.

FIT 620ie, 695, 750ie, 800ie, 900ie, 1000ie, S2R800/1000, S4, S4R

NOT S4RS (or probably anything later than 2009 eg 696/796/1100)

The tea tray should fit your '95 bike I think, but don't try and fit it to the forks because it won't fit either type of forks! Try fitting it to the back of the frame as normal and you should be okay..

if you've a 'cafe' racer build, with a brown seat that you don't have mudguards for you could always use it as a front mudguard. It would look **** but then probably no worse than none at all!
