Looks like I'll have to go to Italy to try and get a paint code.... If I manage to get one I'll hang it on this thread

These are a few of the paint codes with PPG & Lechler codes. (Borrowed from another forum post)

Your best bet is to go down to a paint supplier, and have the bike chipped up. Paint fades over the years and unless you're doing a full respray (tank,muduards,cowl etc) having a colour mixed straight from the paint code may not match 100%. I use a PPG scheme at work, and can mix all Ducati Paint codes, however from experience they're not always a perfect match.

when I bought mine (new in '96) there were only red and black ones! ... I've only got a scratch on the tank to spot repair
