How to Prep for Paint after Soda Blasting?

Some of you may have noticed my M900 rebuild in the UKMOC bikes section.
I've just sent my engine heads, barrels and bottom end away to be soda blasted.
My question is this:

What is the best way to prep the engine after soda blasting for paint?

I plan to use water and maybe lacquer thinners to wash and soda away. Then spray with VHT primer and engine enamel.
Do I need to key/sand/scuff the components or will the finish from soda blasting be adequate?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Soda blasting finish is normally pretty good as it is, I use etch primer and vht paint, but no enamel. I clean first in part washer, then brake cleaner and air gun.

I'd degrease it and paint it. Remember not to touch it with bare hands once you've cleaned it...
