S2R not turning over

Currently have a non starting s2r, this is what I know so far.

Turn the key and the dials sweep to the right then back to zero.
Fuel pump can be heard. Engine management light (EOBD) stays on.
Immobiliser light does nothing, no flashes, completely lifeless.
So then I have nutural light and oil pressure light on (normal) but also EOBD remains on (not normal).
Headlight is on, all lights indicators working ok but starter switch is not operating the starter.
I thought it may have been moisture in the clocks so I've dried then out in the airing cupboard but no joy.

Could it be the immobiliser aerial? The one that's in the key housing faulty? Is there anyway to check this?

I've tried the spare black key and even the red but no joy.
