You wait ages for an ally tank then two come along at once!

Just popped in to see Steve at Image Design Custom this afternoon and, in amongst all the Harley tanks and another Henry Cole chopper for the next series of "The Motorbike Show", I spotted this little beauty on the shelf (talk about a diamond in the rough!):

So, hot on the heels of Geoff's acquisition http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/s...ad.php?t=58078 we have a second aluminium tank.

Steve wasn't sure of the origins of this one but I looked up the name "Beater" from the name plate and found it's from a Japanese manufacturer and currently retails at ¥300,000 (about £2,100, before transport and taxes). https://beater-japan.com/?p=251/#itemImage (I see damien666 mentioned "Beater" in Geoff's thread.)

From the jottings on the tank, it looks like it'll be painted in a version of the Corse scheme of red, white and black.

Steve couldn't remember who it was for, only that it was from an S4R - anyone on here I wonder?

Beautiful workmanship and feather light too - very nice.

Yea Beater is Japanese supplier of ally tanks. Oh the irony., but they do look good. I dont recognise the fuel flange so it may be S4RS. They did originally sec the S4TS tank and someone on here bought one. I think they can do most other Monsters but they are made to order si expensive and long time.
